Pawprints Forever began on a quiet Tuesday in autumn. We had just said goodbye to Toby — a scruffy little terrier who had been with our family for seventeen years.

In the weeks that followed, we searched for a way to keep him close. Not a frame on the wall. Not a photo in a drawer. Something we could hold, something we could carry.

When we couldn't find it, we made it. A small pendant, engraved gently with his face and his name. The first time we wore it, we cried — and then we smiled.
